In modern Jiaxing, this pioneering spirit has turned revolutionary heritage into fertile ground for innovation. Under its guidance, multiple cutting-edge research institutions have emerged, transforming the city into a regional innovation powerhouse.
在当代嘉兴，开拓进取精神将红色革命底蕴孕育成创新沃土。在此精神的引领下，多家前沿科研院所相继落成，推动嘉兴这座城市成长为区域创新高地。
The Yangtze Delta Region Institute of Tsinghua University, Zhejiang, which was established over two decades ago, exemplifies this transformation. Rooted in Jiaxing while serving the broader Yangtze River Delta region, the institute has pioneered a new model of university-provincial cooperation, deeply integrating technological and industrial innovation.
二十余年前揭牌成立的浙江清华长三角研究院，正是其典型缩影。研究院立足嘉兴、辐射整个长三角，开创省校合作全新范式，实现技术创新与产业创新深度融合。
"Our defining feature is self-financing and market-oriented operations," said Huang Kaisheng, Party secretary and director of the institute. "We've blazed our trail entirely through institutional reform."
研究院党委书记、院长黄开胜表示：“我们最大的特色是自收自支、市场化运行，完全依靠体制改革闯出了一条新路。”
The facility has developed a collaborative innovation model effectively bridging the gap between research and market applications through coordinated efforts involving government, industry, academia, research institutions, finance, intermediary services and end users.
研究院打造政、产、学、研、金、介、用七位一体协同创新模式，高效打通科研成果与市场落地之间的壁垒。
The institute's achievements are substantial. It has so far attracted 1,260 high-level overseas talents to Zhejiang, cultivated over 2,600 technology enterprises and helped 82 companies go public, providing continuous innovation momentum for regional economic development.
研究院成果丰硕：累计引进海外高层次人才1260名，引育科技企业2600余家，投资培育上市企业82家，持续为区域经济发展注入创新动能。
"We integrate the red spirit into our work," Huang added. "We value passion, shoulder our mission, let actions speak louder than words, and strive for excellence. These values drive many of us to make meaningful contributions."
黄开胜补充道：“我们把红色精神融入日常工作。秉持热忱初心、扛起使命担当，实干笃行、精益求精，以红船精神激励全体人员实干奉献。”
